FAQ

  • Shipping Information

    Originals:

Original works of art are unique items to ship. Please allow time for professional shipping preparations to ensure your beautiful new artwork will arrive in perfect condition. Each painting is carefully packaged and shipped from my studio gallery. Shipping time varies and can sometimes take up to 2 weeks or more. I will stay connected throughout this process as well as provide a tracking number once your new artwork has been shipped.

National Shipping: Orders within the Republic of Ireland for original paintings are FREE.

International Shipping: An estimated shipping cost for orders outside of the Republic of Ireland will be calculated at check out and may require an additional invoice or refund after payment.

    Prints & Products:

All prints are made to order with the utmost of love from my studio gallery in Dingle. I don’t hold stock for online orders, instead I usually print & package the week’s orders on Mondays/Tuesdays. Please allow 5 – 10 working days for your print/product to arrive… I promise, it’ll be worth the wait! The processing time is quite generous and when all the stars align, your print may dispatch even earlier than that – happy days!

Delivery times will vary depending on your location. You will receive a tracking number when the order is dispatched and then you can track/stalk your package until it’s in your hands! Please note, some orders may require separate packages… for example, if you order a print and a calendar, these will be packaged and shipped separately. Sometimes one will arrive before the other, fear not my friends, the rest of the order will arrive soon after.

  • What’s the best way to see what you’re currently painting and when you will have new work available?

The best way to see what I’m currently working on is by joining my mailing list here, it’s a monthly newsletter where I share what I’m working on in the studio, give you a behind-the-scenes insight and where I send you early access & exclusive previews of new work. You can also follow me on Instagram where I share a lot of my process and snippets from the studio on a regular basis.

  • Do you provide framing?

Yes, I provide framing on all original paintings. These are usually framed in a natural oak tray frame. These are sold through my online shop & in my studio gallery in Dingle.

I also have a selection of framed prints available to purchase directly from my studio gallery. I do not ship any framed prints. Prints purchased through my online shop are unframed and arrive in a tube. If you are in the Dingle area and are looking to get a print framed, I am happy to organise framing for you. Please note, framed prints are for collection only and may take up to 2 – 3 weeks to be ready.

  • What do I do with unframed prints when they arrive?

As tempting as it may be… please resist the urge to remove your print from the tube when it arrives. Artworks are extremely delicate (especially paper pieces) and need to be handled as little as possible to avoid any damage. I always recommend bringing your new artwork straight to your local framers.

  • Will my print fit into a ready-made frame? Can I frame this myself?

    If you have ordered the 30 x 40 cm, 30 x 30cm, 40 x 50 cm or 50 x 70cm size prints – these fit in to ready-made frames.

A few things to remember when you are DIY-framing…

Wait until you have an ample amount of time & all the bits to frame the artwork before you take it out of its original packaging.

Remove the artwork from its packaging carefully in a clean environment (with clean hands pretty please)

Avoid touching the face of the print AT ALL and just hold the outer edges lightly.

If you are framing with a mount/mat board, please use artist quality acid-free tape ONLY (do not use sellotape, masking tape or any other tapes please, we want to keep your beautiful new piece as archival, damage-free & long lasting as possible)

After you have the art securely taped to the mount, clean the glass/ plexiglass to remove any dust or fingerprints (v v important) When you have it clean, pop the mount and the backer into the frame and voila you are done! Extra little tip, tape the “Certificate of Authenticity” that you received with your print to the back of the frame for a professional finish xo

All other print sizes in my shop not listed above will require a professional framer.

  • The print I want is saying ‘SOLD OUT’ – will you be releasing more?

My limited edition prints are exactly that – limited to a certain amount (that’s what makes them so special) Once a particular size sells out I cannot continue to print them.

  • Can I order a custom size print?

At this time, I do not offer custom size printing. All of my prints are available in my Print Shop here.

  • Do you do gift vouchers?

Yes I do offer gift vouchers and no, they do not expire! There are many denominations available, but let me know if you require a different amount. Shop for physical gift vouchers here, and digital gift vouchers here.

  • Do you take commissions?

I am not taking any commissions at this time but will announce via my email list or Instagram if I do.

  • Do you work with Interior Designers?

Yes, I love working with Interior Designers. I offer designers a discount on my Giclee Prints. Please email hello@elouiseflannery.com for enquiries. Please note, I do not offer discounts on original paintings, nor do I allow my work to be marked up without my consent.

  • What’s your return/exchange policy?

All paintings, prints and products are final sale. Please email me at hello@elouiseflannery.com with any questions or concerns regarding your purchase.

  • Can I visit your Studio Gallery?

Yes, absolutely! I love having people visit my creative space. Click here for opening hours & directions.

Depending on the time of the year… the Studio Gallery may have shorter opening hours/is closed for creative cocooning ;) If timing is not on your side, send an email to hello@elouiseflannery.com, I’ll be happy to schedule a private appointment/gallery visit at a time that suits us both.
