"A wild ride around the west"

So much of Oliver’s poetry is about pausing, looking, or rather seeing. Seeing beyond the landscape as a whole and instead paying attention to a tiny wildflower in a crack of a stone wall, to a flock of flying birds, or to a bee whizzing by. Like Oliver, these are the things in the natural world that fascinate me. For centuries people have looked to nature for signs, symbols, and answers. They believed that fields, trees, and creatures were the spirits of their ancestors. There is an invisible energy, invisible to the eye but not to the soul, that can be felt in nature. An energy of reassurance, of connection, of lightness and of joy. An energy of all that matters is matter.

“The Great Escape” is about this ~ this energy, this feeling.

Details: This is an original acrylic and mixed media painting on a slim-edged canvas. It is framed in a natural oak tray frame (price includes framing). It is hand-signed on the front and back. It is sealed and varnished to prevent UV and moisture damage. * Please note colours may appear different on various screens and devices.

Please allow up to 1 - 2 weeks from receipt of your order for your piece to be shipped. FREE DELIVERY in Ireland on all Original Paintings. 

Shipping costs will be calculated at checkout for all orders outside of Ireland. 

PRINTS shipping details:

Each print is printed, hand cut, hand signed, packaged and shipped by Elouise from her Studio Gallery. Please allow 3 - 5 business days for your order to be shipped. 

All prints are shipped unframed, carefully wrapped in acid fee tissue paper and come in a sturdy tube. All print orders will be shipped via An Post. Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email with a tracking number and a framing guide for your new beautiful artwork.
