Over the past several months, I've collected sounds, shapes, colours and patterns from a river walk near my home. I keep returning to this spot. Spellbound by the river's music. Restored by the peacefulness. The river has become a source of inspiration for me, a metaphor for the endless flow of experience.
This exhibition is an ode to a Spring spent inspired by a river that brought so much flow back into my practice, that sparked lots of new creative riffs within my work, and that reminded me of the connections between plants, animals, humans, the earth, the heavens and our collective spirit. My hope is to pass on this spirit to you, in the form of paintings ~Just like the river, we go on x
